Hevea brasiliensis is a species of tree in the family Euphorbiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to South America, Amazônia, RondôNia, Acre (Brazil), Amapá, Pará, and Maranhao. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 23 m.
