Carex capillaris (Hair Like Sedge) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, Canada, Western North America, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, The Contiguous United States, and Greenland. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 1.7 feet.
