Catopsis sessiliflora (Sessileleaf Strap Airplant) is a species of perennial herb in the family bromeliads. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alagoas, Bahia, The Neotropics, Amazônia, Pará, SãO Paulo, Ceará, Rio De Janeiro, Amapá, Mata Atlântica, Puerto Rico, Santa Catarina, Pernambuco, Paraná, and Espirito Santo. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 45 cm.
