Tripogon spicatus (Nees) Ekman

Tripogon spicatus is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Cerrado, Pampa, Santa Catarina, Pernambuco, ParaíBa, Ceará, Paraná, Pantanal, Piauí, Caatinga, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande Do Norte, Mata Atlântica, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mato Grosso Do Sul, The Contiguous United States, Bahia, and SãO Paulo. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.027 m.
