Muhlenbergia capillaris (Hairawn Muhly) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and red flowers. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
