Colocasia esculenta (Wild Taro) is a species of perennial herb in the family Araceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to North America and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by White-tailed bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 1.2 m.
