Juniperus communis (Common Juniper) is a species of tree in the family Cupressaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Eastern North America, Greenland, Alaska, Canada, The Contiguous United States, North America, northern hemisphere, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Western North America, and United States. They have simple, spine-shaped leaves, yellow flowers, and fleshy fruit. Individuals can grow to 6 m.
