Juniperus scopulorum (Red Cedar) is a species of tree in the family Cupressaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America, Canada, The Contiguous United States, North America, northern hemisphere, and United States. They have simple, scale leaf leaves, yellow flowers, and drupe. Individuals can grow to 50 feet.
