Tsuga canadensis (Eastern Hemlock) is a species of tree in the family pines. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, North America, United States, northern hemisphere, and Eastern North America. They have simple, spine-shaped leaves, yellow flowers, and cones. Individuals can grow to 105 feet.
