Pygathrix nemaeus (Red Shanked Douc Langur) is a species of primates in the family Old World monkeys. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to Asia. They are diurnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 300 months and can grow to 1250 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care).
