Hyacinthoides non-scripta (Common Bluebell) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asparagaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Brown-belted Bumblebee, Old World Swallowtail, Bombus hypnorum, and Melanostoma mellina. Individuals can grow to 0.5 m.
