Can be distinguished from all species of Garra and Discogobio by possessing a median notch in the posterior margin of the posterior free fold of the oral sucking disc and 2-7 small fleshy buds between the skin fold and sides of the median pad (Ref. 55924).Description: Dorsal fin with iii, 7-8 1/2 rays; anal fin with iii,5 1/2 rays; pectoral fin with i,11 rays; pelvic fin i,8 rays (Ref. 55924).
