Upper part of Wildrose Canyon. Young growth singleleaf pinon (with some Utah juniper) above charcoal kilns. Old growth stand was cut in the 70's to make charcoal for Modoc gold mine (Argus Range). Assoc. sp.: Artemisia tridentata-Cercocarpus ledifolius. San Bernadino County., T 19 S R 45 E Sec unknown Quad name: Telescope Peak. Quad number: 115.
