Description:
This Lobelia is endemic to Kauai and is only found in the Alakai Swamp and near Mt. Waialeale. Elevation of this photo was around 4030ft/1229m. Of note, the Hawaiian Lobeliads consist of what is currently separated into 5 genera and 125 endemic species, all from a single colonization 13 million years ago!
