Slo.: rdeča milnica - Habitat: above and in mural stony road side, mixed wood edge, south oriented modestly inclined mountain slope, calcareous ground, fairly in shade, dry place, average precipitations about 2.000 mm/year, average temperatures about 5-7 deg C, elevation 850 m (2.800 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: sandy soil on top of the wall scarp and in crevices of it. - Comment: Growing in several cushions in full bloom. - ref.: (1) M.A.Fischer, W.Adler, K.Oswald, Exkursionsflora Oesterreich Liechtenstein, Suedtirol, LO Landesmuseen, Linz, Austria (2005), p 265.
