Unstocked area (under 5%) of commercial chaparral consisting mainly of Arctostaphylos patula with some scattered Castanopsis sempervirens and Prunus virginiana (=Prunus demissa). Commercial conifers in backround are Ponderosa pine and some Incense cedar and Douglas fir. Soil: 3-4 " depp, rocky from lava origin. Site 125-150.
