Formerly supported sugar pine, ponderosa pine-white fir stands averaging about 50 M per acre. Present scanty cover consists of Arctostaphylos patula, Castanopsis sempervirens, Ceanothus cordulatus and prostratus with occasional Quercus kelloggii., T 25 N R 4 E Sec 16 Quad name: Paynes Creek. Quad number: 33.
