Western Diamondback Rattlesnake (Cortalus atrox) (487577527)
Description:
Description: Snapped a few pictures of the snake that I was relocating out of a new housing development area. Released it for a bit in my backyard and the grass was still wet from the rain earlier so the snake looks darker wet. Backed up to the fence and took a stand. On the ground with the camera lens about 24 inches from the snake. Pictures not so great because I didn't spend a lot of time looking through the view finder! Was hoping for a strike at the lens but never happend while lying still and snapping pictures. Date: 6 May 2007, 17:15.
