Description: Timber rattlesnake (Crotalus horridus) at the Raven's Horn Vista along the Golden Eagle Trail, Lycoming County, within the Wolf Run Wild Area of Tiadaghton State Forest. Used a zoom lens to photograph the snake from a safe, respectful distance. The colors of the snake closely matched those of the rock outcrops upon which it rested. Date: 19 July 2014, 09:20.
