Description:
Description: English: Knotted Wrack The narrow channel between Eanach Mheain and the smaller Inis Loiscthe does not quite dry out at low tide, but rock outcrops and boulders make it un-navigable. As with the most part of this sheltered, shallow bay an abundance of the Knotted Wrack (Ascophyllum nodosum) covers every inter-tidal surface. I am always impressed by the vivid yellow colour of this seaweed. Date: 26 July 2009. Source: From geograph.org.uk. Author: Jonathan Wilkins.
