Description: English: Gutweed (Ulva intestinalis) at low tide in Brofjorden, Govik, Lysekil Municipality, Sweden. The tublar fronds are puffed up by oxygen from photosynthesis. This specimen is about 15 cm (5.9 in) high and it grows on a rusty boat ramp. In this region, the tidal range is about 20 cm (7.9 in).
