Stems are pubescent to woolly or hairless and to 25 cm tall. Leaves are opposite, oblong to more or less spathulate and 2–5 cm long; upper surface is sparsely hairy to hairless, lower surface is pubescent to woolly. Flowerheads are 1–4 cm long, 1–1.2 cm wide.
