Description: Light rain in the evening, followed by a mild but slightly breezy evening. The predicted heavier rain did not start until 7am so I was lucky in that the catch wasn't sopping wet. A nice return aswell with two new Underwing species and the star of the catch, the uncommon Pyralid Donacaula mucronellus. This is a first record for my garden and my second record ever (the previous was from my Essex cottage garden in Hatfield Broad Oak) Strangely that both records are from less than ideal habitats for this moth.
