Dull and dreary with a splash of special :-) 1
Description:
We had our first pretty miserable weather day for ages, so we were inside with the heaters on. This grey goshawk (white phase) was seen through our kitchen window. It brightened up the afternoon, as it is a rare event to see them sitting. We see them flying over semi-regularly. It seemed to be watching for something, my guess was rats. I crept outside to do my best with some photos, but the light was terrible, and the bird was obscured by the branches. Garden, Hobart, Tasmania
