This Yellow Tit was sighted near a dry stream on a flowering tree (Bombax Ceiba) sucking the nectar from the flowers. After that, this male and another one flew to this dry tree and starting picking up insects on the tree bark giving me opportunity for a couple of shots. This is quite a rare bird for our entire region and I was lucky to have seen it. The weekend was fantastic. A trip to a tiger reserve was amazing and very memorable. We started at 4.00 Am in the morning and came back around 10 PM including a 5 hour to and fro drive. Sighted over 85 species of birds including several uncommon ones and the highlight was tiger pugmarks which made me quite nervous. Also sighted the scat of several wild dogs, Porcupine, a Jungle cat and several types of deer. Hoping to make another trip shortly provided the heat is not that bad.
