Description: I don't think i'd realised how tiny the flowers of this species were. I suppose I'd assumed they'd be about the same size as the cultivars (Kermesina, Alba Luxurians etc) who's flowers are about 3ins across. It's come as a suprise then to see these appear at little over an inch across. I know Clematis flowers can increase in size as the plant matures. It'll be interesting to see..
