Branched undershrub, 2-8 dm. high or more ; branches yellowish, strongly angled, striate, finely glandular ; stipules very slender, ascending or divaricate, 5-8 mm. long ; petioles 8-15 mm. long, glandular; leaflets 5-7, linear, 8-15 mm. long, about 1 mm. broad, thick, glandular-puberulent, spinulose-tipped ; peduncles 2-4 mm. long ; sepals lanceolate, 3 mm. long, with short spinulose tips; petals pinkish or rose, about 6-8 mm. long ; blades spatulate ; fruit about 4 mm. long, muricate-hispidulous ; beak fully 3 mm. long.
Type locality: Santa Rosalia, Lower California.
Distribution: Lower California.
