Native Hawaiian Plant Specialist

About me

Born and raised in Oregon, but lived most of my life in Hawai'i on the island of O'ahu.
Very happily married for 28 years.
Like ancient history, especially biblical history. Love to read the Bible. (hands down the greatest book on the planet!)
Avid hiker into native Hawaiian ecosystems; and formerly in the Pacific Northwest.
Absolutely love yard work. Owned & operated a landscape/yard maintenance business for fifteen years.
My experience with plants & animals began at a very young age. But in the early 1970's I began an earnest study of them.

Natural interests:
Native Hawaiian flora/fauna
Native Oregon flora/fauna
Cypraea (a genus of mollusks)

Sports:
Tennis
Baseball/Softball (play recreational...uh, now and then)
Soccer (now an arm-chair spectator)
Swimming (when the chance affords me)
