A humble shrub with a repertoire of medicinal values - antioxidant and antibacterial and many more. A good dewormer, slimming tea constituent, poultice for atonic and gangrenous ulcers. Shoots eaten as Malay salad (ulam) and appetizer by old folks. Native of temperate Asia, tropical Asia and Australasia.
