Dentalium ( İngilizce )

EOL authors tarafından sağlandı

Dentalium spp. is a Scaphopod mollusc found in many areas of the world. It lives in offshore course to fine grain sand. It feeds on hard-shell microbenthos, particularly Formanifera (Morton, 2009). This tusk-shell uses its foot and conically shaped shell to burrow until completely covered (Dinamani, 1959).
