Description: Characterized by light brown to dusky grey color dorsally in preservative; anterior lateral line scales 19-27; depth of body 33.4-36.6 % of SL (Ref. 90102).

Found in shallow water in areas of living hard and soft corals (Ref. 26137); sometimes in relatively silty areas (Ref. 81967).
