Baiyankamys habbema (Tate & Archbold 1941)

The mountain water rat (Baiyankamys habbema) is a semiaquatic species of rodent in the family Muridae. It is found in West Papua, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitat is rivers.
