Urospermum picroides (Prickly Golden Fleece) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have broad leaves and dry fruit. Flowers are visited by Oxythyrea funesta, Mordellistena pumila, Mylabris quadripunctata, and Oedemera nobilis. Individuals can grow to 0.18 m.
