Guarea macrophylla is a species of tree in the family Meliaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Rio Grande do Sul, Alagoas, Caatinga, Espirito Santo, Acre (Brazil), Pernambuco, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Goiás, Amazônia, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Rondônia, Distrito Federal, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso, Amapá, Bahia, Pará, Tocantins, Mata Atlântica, Sergipe, Amazônia, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Cerrado. Guarea macrophylla has compound, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 11 m. Reproduction is dioecious.
