commonly found in Fairbanks, Alaska. Related to orange delicious. I am going to try eating it as there seems to be no information on this. Has a pleasant smell. Found in August on a southwestern slope with mixed aspen/spruce forest. Ground habitat includes cranberries and moss. Tastes really spicy/hot unpleasant. Had to spit it out!
