Vigna luteola (Hairypod Cowpea) is a species of perennial herb in the family legumes. They are climbers. They are native to China, The Contiguous United States, Caatinga, Mata Atlântica, Amazônia, Paraná, Bahia, Piauí, Rio Grande Do Sul, U.S. Virgin Islands, SãO Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Cerrado, Eastern North America, Puerto Rico, Santa Catarina, and Pará. They have compound, broad leaves and capsule fruit.
