Calopogonium caeruleum (Jicama) is a species of perennial herb in the family legumes. They are climbers. They are native to Mata Atlântica, Ceará, Tocantins, Amazônia, ParaíBa, Rio Grande Do Sul, Bahia, Paraná, Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Alagoas, Rio Grande Do Norte, Acre (Brazil), Santa Catarina, Maranhao, Roraima, Rio De Janeiro, Cerrado, Pernambuco, RondôNia, Piauí, Mato Grosso, Sergipe, GoiáS, Caatinga, Puerto Rico, and Pará. Flowers are visited by Black-chinned Hummingbird.
