Rubus phoenicolasius (Japanese Wineberry) is a species of shrub in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Flowers are visited by Confusing Bumblebee, Small-handed Leaf-cutter Bee, Two-spotted Bumblebee, and Honey bee. Individuals can grow to 2.3 m.
