Juncus tenuis (Slender Rush) is a species of perennial herb in the family rushes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Ecuador, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, Mata Atlântica, Paraná, Colombia, Costa Rica, Santa Catarina, Honduras, Jamaica, United States, SãO Paulo, Brazil, Bolivia, Guatemala, Canada, Rio De Janeiro, Peru, Rio Grande Do Sul, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Minas Gerais, Mexico, and Pampa. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 1.5 feet.
