Chrysobalanus icaco (Coco Plum) is a species of tree in the family Chrysobalanaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Martinique, U.S. Virgin Islands, The Contiguous United States, Saint Barthelemy, ParaíBa, Alagoas, Guadeloupe, Atlantic And Gulf Coastal Plain (Agcp), SãO Paulo, AmazôNia, Rio Grande Do Norte, Espirito Santo, Puerto Rico, Sergipe, Piauí, Florida, Mata AtlâNtica, Middle America, Rio De Janeiro, Netherlands Antilles, Eastern North America, Pará, Ceará, Maranhao, and Bahia. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by European honey bee, Nectarinia dussumieri, Ruddy Daggerwing, and Trypoxylon. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
