Woodsia ilvensis is a species of perennial herb in the family Woodsiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, Greenland, The Contiguous United States, and Canada. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.14 m. They have alternation of generations.
