Nymphaea odorata (American White Waterlily) is a species of perennial herb in the family waterlilies. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, North America, Cuba, El Salvador, Canada, United States, Eastern North America, Honduras, The Bahamas, and Mexico. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Honey bee and Common Eastern Bumblebee.
