Trollius europaeus (European Globeflower) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Smittia aterrima, Willow Catkin Flies, Podabrus, and Gimnomera. Individuals can grow to 0.3 m.
