Malva alcea (European Mallow) is a species of perennial herb in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, Melanostoma mellina, Red tailed bumblebee, and White-tailed bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 0.68 m.
