Nandina domestica (Sacred Bamboo) is a species of shrub in the family Berberidaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Asia. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and berries. Flowers are visited by Jamides alecto dromicus and Bombus ignitus. Individuals can grow to 8 feet.
