They are native to Middle America, The Hawaiian Islands, Florida, Mata Atlântica, The Contiguous United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Eastern North America, Maranhao, Rio Grande Do Norte, Puerto Rico, Atlantic And Gulf Coastal Plain (Agcp), and Caribbean Islands. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Flowers are visited by Great Southern White and Ascia monuste raza. Individuals can grow to 0.1 feet.
