Carphephorus (Chaffhead) is a genus of herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States and United States. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by American Bumblebee, Ornate Bella Moth, Agapostemon splendens, and Common Eastern Bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 18 m.
