Persicaria capitata (Ground Polygonum) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to South America. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Buff-tailed bumblebee, Honey bee, Vanessa cardui, and Guava Skipper.
