Persicaria virginiana (Jumpseed) is a species of annual herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, North America, and South America. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Individuals can grow to 1.2 m.
