Apeiba tibourbou is a species of tree in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio Grande Do Norte, Maranhao, Caatinga, SãO Paulo, GoiáS, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, Pará, Pernambuco, Piauí, ParaíBa, Ceará, Pantanal, RondôNia, Acre (Brazil), Mato Grosso, Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais, Roraima, Tocantins, Amapá, Distrito Federal, Sergipe, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, Middle America, Amazônia, Alagoas, and Cerrado. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 18.8 m.
